Small business cybersecurity, without the theatre
Most breaches at businesses your size are not sophisticated. They are a reused password, an account without multi-factor, an unpatched machine, or an invoice email that looked close enough. The defences that stop those are boring and cheap, and they are the ones we put in first. We would rather do the dull things properly than sell you a dashboard.
Backup and disaster recovery you can prove
A backup that has never been restored is a guess with a receipt. We test restores, so the day you need one is not the day you find out the job had been failing silently since March. Alongside it comes a written recovery plan: what gets restored first, who makes the call, how long each step takes, and what the business does in the meantime.
Know what you are actually running
If nobody has looked in a while, start with an audit rather than a purchase. We review what you have, what it is exposed to and what it would cost to fix, and hand you a written report with priorities and costs. There is no obligation to have us do the work, and sometimes the report says you are in better shape than you feared.

- We're small. Are we really a target?
- You are not a target in the sense of somebody choosing you by name. You are a target in the sense that the attacks are automated and indiscriminate, and small businesses are where they succeed most often because the basics are missing. Nobody picked you. That does not help afterwards.
- What's the difference between a backup and disaster recovery?
- A backup is a copy of your data. Disaster recovery is the plan for getting the business working again, which includes the copy but also the order things come back in, who decides, and how long each step takes. Plenty of businesses have the first and assume it means they have the second.
- What does multi-factor authentication actually stop?
- The most common way small businesses get breached: someone else typing your password. Whether it leaked in a breach elsewhere, was guessed, or was handed over on a convincing login page, the password alone stops being enough. It is not a complete defence, but nothing else available to you is this cheap or this effective.
- Can we just get an audit without signing up for anything?
- Yes. A one-off audit is a real thing we sell on its own: a written report on what you run, what is exposed and what fixing it costs, with priorities. No obligation to have us do the work afterwards.
